About CDA

Creative Dialogue Association (CDA) is a non-profit independent association based in Barcelona, the fourth most creative city in the world.*
*According to a survey of one hundred top professionals carried out by the Barcelona Design Centre.

CDA devotes itself to devising and implementing programs focused on creative human capital development in the area of creative economy. CDA also offers consultancy services within these areas of expertise.

Mission

CDA was founded in 2009 with the mission to act as an engine for the transformation of social, economic and human relationships by empowering the creative scene.

This mission is achieved through an international platform of knowledge transfer, bringing together creative professionals, experts, institutions, producers and representatives of the creative industries with the aim of establishing a common space for creativity and innovation, and promoting dialogue between creative disciplines in different countries.

Methodology

CDA designs programs based on the local needs. With the support of local partners and through research, CDA devises and develops programs and strategies to foster creative and technical capacities for local creative community.

Issues to be addressed by CDA may include:

  • Lack of information and research programs in creative fields.
  • Lack of continuous training programs in the creative and technical fields addressed to local creatives.
  • Difficulty for young professionals to access a national and international network for promoting their product or to establish interdisciplinary collaboration among professionals from different fields.
